About Horizon Wellness Center
Horizon Wellness Center is an initiative of Horizon Counseling & Outreach Center, Inc., a Texas 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
We are building practical wellness education, resources and community pathways for people and families navigating real life barriers to healthier food, routines and everyday wellbeing.
What we are building
Our first focus is practical food and daily wellness. Fresh Start is our first community pilot in development. Over time, Horizon Wellness Center is building practical education and resources across food and nutrition, movement, sleep, stress and healthy routines.
Where we work
Our current community focus is Austin and Central Texas.
How we work
We aim to complement existing food access, healthcare and community organizations rather than replace them. We focus on practical education, participant experience, coordination, resource navigation and learning what helps people use healthier choices confidently and consistently in everyday life.
